Famed Oregon builder, Robert Rummer, built around 750 modern homes in the Portland area that were often clustered together in neighborhoods, which makes them convenient tour locations.

 

On May 13, 2023, you’ll get the opportunity to tour four Rummer-built homes in the SW Portland neighborhood of  Bohmann Park, including his own, personal residence!

 

Rummer homes are easily identified by their distinctive open post-and-beam construction, large walls of glass letting light stream in, and floor plans are often oriented around a courtyard element, which is either enclosed or open-air. See you there!
